While I have always been interested in ancient history, I discovered my passion for archaeology on my first visit to Greece as a student enrolled in a study abroad program. This life-changing experience left me convinced that these types of learning opportunities should be an essential part of every person’s education. As a result, I direct a study abroad program for my own students each summer. On this program, which typically lasts for four weeks in Greece, students visit many famous sites and monuments from classical antiquity, and participate in the ongoing work at the MSU Excavations at Isthmia.
Students help to clean parts of the Byzantine Fortress at Isthmia.
